New Message Board for The Masses!

Hey everybody!

My friends A. Dave Lewis and Saurav Mohapatra have just launched a new message board, Beyond the Bleed to promote the discussion of comics, and give a forum [ha ha] to creators to talk about their process, thoughts, and projects!

Currently lots of Archaia creators inhabit "the Creatorium"
Patrick McEvoy, Kat Rocha, Jason Becker, Tom Pinchuk, Mark Smylie, yours truly of course, and many others!

Come check it out!
The Creatorium

-So please sign up. This is where i'll be having my message board discussions for now. So if you have questions, insights, musings, whatevers about my comic and work, please feel free to talk about it in my section. And please do participate in the other discussions in the main boards, and say hello to your favorite Archaia creators. :)

speaking of San Diego....

----------------------

San Diego Comic-con [July 23-26, San Diego, CA]

I will be at San Diego Comic-con this year at the Archaia [Studios Press] table.
---I'm hoping to have an ash-can [aka mini-comic] out for this convention [which is a stand alone, in cannon, God Machine NEW story too! Also limited run, and numbered.], i'll also be doing simple commissions, i'll have prints and other goodies [courtesy of DRD of Peoples Republic of Venture <3] for you guys to get!

If there is any particular piece of art you'd like to see as a print, let me know. I make prints probably in the next 2 weeks.

----------------------

Dragon*con [Sept. 4-7, Atlanta, GA]

So for the first time ever, yours truly will have a table at Dragon*con! So if you miss me at SDCC, be sure to see me on the East coast. :)
Also, same as SDCC, i'll have the ash-can, prints, commissions, and goodies!!! And who knows.. maybe i might just finally have The God Machine as well- [this, i'm attempting to make happen... no promises...]

----------------------

More details on table numbers later-
Time to go back to breaking my hands on the Ash-can...! ;)

Lot's o love!
[hope to see you guys at the cons!]

Awakening Trailer!

To give you an idea of how sexy "Awakening" is...

Awakening comic coming soon, and FX Con appearance for me!

I've got some comic news [not my own, but still a damn fine comic it is!], and my next con appearance!

ready? let's go!

********************
The super sexy comic, Awakening, is coming out in June! I have more info for ya guys on the graphic novel that surely will be your cup of tea! [i know i'm in love with it]

If you are indeed looking for a different kind of zombie-existentialist-horror book, you like comics, adore some Alex Eckman-Lawn sexy art, and a good story [compliments of talented Mr. Tapalansky] then I have the thing for you...

but best let Mr. Nick [Tapalansky] explain this one!

Nick Tapalanksy says _{[writer of Awakening ]:}

AWAKENING Volume One is being solicited in April Previews (comic shop ordering magazine)! It’s alllllll set for it’s June release and we couldn’t be more excited. Check out the Awakening album for some sweet previews.

Now the first step in our multi-pronged effort to throw ourselves in the faces of as many people as possible begins. We’re working with a limited time frame, so any help you guys can give would be appreciated more than you know. :)

The deadline for initial order cut-offs from comic shops is incredibly short this month. While they can place re-orders later, if you want to guarantee that the shop will get the book in on the day it’s released, you’ll need to stop in no later than April 11th. To make it super easy for everyone, Alex and I have created a coupon with all our Previews info on it. We've posted it up in our gallery - direct link is below!

Don't worry, it only looks big (that's what she said) - it prints at 4"x6" and won't kill any ink cartridges.

Just print that sucker out, give it to the shop along with your name and phone number, and away you go! If you need help finding a local shop, visit the Comic Shop Locator.

In the event that you don’t have a local comic shop, don’t panic! As soon as the book is available for pre-order through bookstores (Barnes & Noble, Amazon, etc.) or online comic shops I’ll be posting links and a second coupon you can bring to said stores.

In the meantime, please pass this along to friends, family, and loved ones who might be interested in a little existential horror/noir to brighten their day... They can find out more about the book by visiting our MySpace or my deviantART page.
Likewise, if you’ve got a blog or an online presence (website, MySpace, Facebook, etc.) and dig the book, please please please help us spread the word. Post the coupon up for download, sing our praises, talk about how handsome Alex , Thomas , and I are, you know… the usual.

Thanks again everybody for all the support you’ve given us so far! We couldn’t have gotten to this point without all of you and we hope you know how much that means to us.

We love you.
